About Us

Welcome, and thank you for stopping by. Hare Education is here for the child who wants to do well, and the parent who wants support that feels steady, respectful, and real. We believe every child can learn—when we teach them in a way that honours who they are, where they come from, and how they see the world.

Our approach is culturally affirming and child-centred. That simply means we don’t teach “at” children—we teach with them. We use examples they understand, we build confidence step by step, and we keep high standards while still being kind. In my classroom and in my tutoring, I’ve seen it again and again: when a child feels safe, seen, and capable, the learning comes alive.

Meet Your Teacher: Roxane Simone Hare

Hello, I’m Roxane Simone Hare—an educator with over a decade of experience teaching primary school students at Lannaman’s Preparatory School in Jamaica. I hold a Bachelor of Education in Primary Education from The Mico University, and I’m deeply committed to helping children build strong foundations in literacy, numeracy, and confident thinking.

  • Lesson planning and structure: I plan carefully, so sessions feel clear—not confusing.
  • Assessment and feedback: I give constructive, individual feedback so the child knows exactly what to improve.
  • Inclusive support: I work patiently with different learning needs and different confidence levels.
  • Encouragement with standards: I am gentle in tone, but serious about growth.

Student Work Reviews (Upload & Get Feedback)

Sometimes a child doesn’t need a full session—they just need someone to look at the work and say, “Yes, you’re on the right track… and here is the one thing to fix.” Our Student Work Reviews allow you to upload a piece of work and receive clear, caring feedback. We focus on what the child did well, what needs improving, and what to practise next—so progress keeps moving forward.

Our Promise

  • We will treat every child with dignity and encouragement.
  • We will give feedback that is honest, specific, and helpful.
  • We will celebrate effort and guide improvement—without shame.
  • We will partner with parents, because home support matters.

If you’re ready, you can begin with a tutoring package or submit a piece of work for review. Either way, you are not alone—Hare Education is here to help your child learn with confidence.
